Dark flowing river - Leddrain

His heart is broken

as he thinks to himself aloud

Man, am I going to float

or will I begin to drown?

The dark flowing river, it has seen his pain

It flows on endlessly

in my veins

He stands there now

on the bridge in tears

I watch him fall down

He's given in to his fear

I ask his ghost, "Hey man why all this folly?

Is the only thing you hate

is to say 'I'm sorry'?"

I said, " you're blind!

Hey, man, you're blind!

Why did you shut out your life?

My God, don't you realise

in your mind

You cannot take that path?"
